Manager, Fleet Operations of the Houston facility that services 400+ company owned Auto Transport carriers with 12 service bays and and over 40 mechanics and support personnel. Responsibilities include daily operations and reporting of the shop and Central Breakdown, purchasing oversight of fuel, tires and parts and outside truck repair and services and the USAL Mechanic Apprentice program.

Scope:• Oversight of 13 maintenance facilities across the US. Responsibilities included parts, tires, equipment, forms and fuel purchases. • Worked with VP of Maintenance, Director of Maintenance and Operations in helping establish procedures and work instructions to efficiently service and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner within DOT specifications.• Worked with both internal A/P and vendors to help vendor relationships prosper and remain healthy..• Composed effective accounting and ad-hoc reports summarizing maintenance costs for management.• Rebuilt trust with vendors/suppliers, repairing damaged relationships by ensuring timely, correct payments for all goods/services received during the US automotive recession in 2008-2011.• Constructed efficient purchasing strategies for entire corporate structure.
