At Sigmet, working with the surrounding vendors we built the Rolls Royce of "Weather Radar Data Systems" installed and configured around the world in all the brands of weather radar facilites. When Nasa launches a vehicle my equipment is their running 24/7/365. Today what took 14 DSP's in 2002 (digital signals processors) to do, today 1 microprocessor can do that work in NSP (native signal processing) It was neat to see generals marvel over the capabilities to see our current weather in 3D weather products on the large screens. Solving my own transportation problem, I worked at home in my shop producing engineering equipment for a multitude of industries.
