I played a major role in proving several prototype network services and features. These included the use of voice and heavy data transmission over the AT&T network using Lucent Difinity G3 and Conversant/Intuity MAP 100 systems in a LAN/WAN and ATM/SONET environment. Integrated Nortel Switch and Network routers into the AT&T C.O. base for remote area switching and data transfer. Working closely with a team from across the country and Bell Labs/Lucent to provide load balancing and call path routing, as well as, Data Network support over ATM/SONET and Frame Relay links. Evaluation of new products, and services to enhance the service we provided. Supplied trouble shooting skills and knowledge necessary to harden these services into production systems known as AT&T TRUE MESSAGE SERVICE and Claircom Airone (AT&T air to ground) telephony service. Authored and published the preliminary Operation and Maintenance Manual for the systems involved which included multi platform intercommunication and routing protocols.
