Senior Accountant working in both E&P and Pipeline Accounting areas for various firms. Made a career change in 1993, obtaining a position with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. Received extensive training in the insurance industry with particular emphasis on life, disability and health insurance. Worked primarily with professionals in implementing their individual and group coverage. Became licensed with the Texas Department of Insurance in May, 1993, later receiving the LUTCF designation in 1998. Incurred many additional hours of continuing education seeking to add value in advising clients. Later, in February,1996, joined The Union Central Life Insurance Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, expanding horizons to working with small business owners and their specific needs in the areas of group life, disability and health coverage. In 2002, was sponsored through Farmers' Insurance Group, specifically the Craig DuVal Agency of Farmers' Insurance, in obtaining licensure through the Texas Department of Insurance in the areas of Property and Casualty. Remain active in all phases of insurance.
