The duties include establishing and communicating performance appraisals; salary adjustments; reviewing and providing recommendations and directions on property field claims; monitor of claims for accuracy and completeness; control of claim expenses; control and monitor the adjuster’s workflow; assignment of new claims to the appropriate adjuster; reporting to management regarding workflow matrixes; reporting to management of large loss claims. Resolving customer complaints and inquires. Provide field claim orientation training for new hires countrywide.

Supervisor for up to 6 field adjusters handling claims in the Southeastern US and supervision of up to 2 General Adjusters covering the Eastern United States. The duties include establishing and communicating performance appraisals; salary adjustments; reviewing and providing recommendations and directions on property field claims; monitor of claims for accuracy and completeness; control of claim expenses; control and monitor the adjuster’s workflow; assignment of new claims to the appropriate adjuster; reporting to management regarding workflow matrixes; reporting to management of large loss claims. Resolving customer complaints and inquires. Provide field claim orientation training for new hires countrywide.

Resident Adjuster, handling residential property claims throughout the continental United States. The positions require the investigation of the circumstances surrounding the presented claim, including the hiring and supervising of the various experts; determination of the claim value based upon the completion of an estimate or review of an expert’s findings, regarding the analysis of the claim value; documentation of the claim activities; application of the appropriate coverage provisions based on the findings of the investigation; reporting to senior home office management the proper reserving of the claim, status of the claim adjustment and final disposition of the claim. Assisted the branch offices in the training of adjusters for field work. Completed the handling protocols for claims involving the death of an insured, sinkhole subsidence claims and coinsurance calculations. Assisted in the development and editing of a claims information booklet for customers.
