Palatine Facility (Sep ’15 – Jun ’16)• Responsible for team of 21 technicians and 500+ pieces of equipment serving the largest preload in the country.• Maintained a fleet consisting of 20 hybrid electric package cars.Franklin Park Facility & Outlying Centers (Mar '15 – Sep ‘15)• Manages a team of 15 mechanics responsible for 400+ pieces of power equipment in three separate locations in two states.

Independence Facility (Nov ’14 – Mar '15)• Responsible for the opening of the 18,000 SF automotive shop in the new Independence building which is the largest automated facility in the Red River district.• Designed the shop layout, developed an over $100,000 part inventory, and facilitated the setup of operation.• Managed a team of 11 mechanics responsible for 88 tractors, 145 package cars and 24 hour trailer coverage.• Collaborated on shop expansion during the second phase of construction which would double the building’s sorting capacity and result in the hiring of four additional mechanics.Fort Worth Facility & Outlying Centers (Nov ’10 – Nov ’14)• Conducted staffing analysis and hired additional mechanics to align with 16% overall fleet growth: 15 mechanics responsible for 42 tractors and 414 package cars.• Evaluated potential satellite centers and contracted two new vendors to help reduce drive time costs.• Completed a redesign of the 6,000 SF shop including the work bays and parts room to improve space utilization and ease of access.• On-time implementation of keyless system retrofit on the package car fleet.Dallas Facility (Jul ’08 – Nov ’10)• Maintained an alternative fuel CNG fleet consisting of 54 package cars.• Phase 1 building for telematics system implementation and testing on a 315 package car fleet.Fleet Supervisor Responsibilities• Schedule and audit PMs, repairs, campaigns and review effectiveness with mechanics.• Create and track annual budgets for manager’s area.• Trained 6 new mechanics and mentored 6 new supervisors.• Lead safety committee meetings, compliance training, audit preparations and reviews• Conduct body shop and satellite vendor visits.• Foster interdepartmental relationships with management and union employees, resolve union labor issues, and develop a team environment.• Evaluate repairs and part expense for long term effectiveness while balancing day to day expenses in order to meet budget goals.
