This role covers three separate but related areas. For compliance, the Director reviews the various compliance databases and systems our clients utilize to ensure we meet their various requirements in safety, training, and reporting. I also assist in the preparation of contract and vendor packets for new clients. The training role requires the creation, execution, and management of a comprehensive company training program including areas such as HSE, New Hire Orientation, compliance, and job specific training. I oversee the coordination between our field operations personnel and our trainers to source their training requests. Serving as the direct supervisor for our company trainers, I review all training materials to ensure top quality course material and classes with specific focus on instructor delivery and sound pedagogical practices. In the area of internal operations, I am responsible for the creation, organization, and execution of various internal corporate planning tools and events, such as the monthly senior staff meeting and long and short range calendars. I am coordinating with our HSE Director for the selection and implementation of a new automated system that integrates safety, field operations, training management, and provides reporting for senior level situational awareness. I attend meetings with many of our veteran-based partner organizations to promote veteran assistance and transition into the civilian workforce. I coordinate with the VP of Strategy to assist with company direction and strategy, and developing our internal organization.

The Director of Education and Content oversees all strategic and operational aspects of member and/or public education programs including the execution, design and implementation of new certification/credentialing programs. The Director has oversight of developing strategy and planning, scheduling, and execution of SGA programs associated with training, learning, and engagement of member organizations and other industry participants in virtual, in-house, and in-person activities. In addition, the Director works with SGA leadership for the development of new programs to advance our industry as workforce changes occur.

Provide oversight in the strategic planning for Army University in the integration, synchronization, and coordination of developing policy, procedures, and systems enabling the Army's academic enterprise to educate agile and adaptive Soldiers and leaders in achieving cognitive overmatch to win in multi-domain operations. Specific focus on improving the methods, curriculum, and delivery systems for Professional Military Education across the Army.

Chief of Academic Operations/Dean of Academics for the Department of Distance Education (DDE), within the Command and General Staff Officer Course (CGSOC), Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC). Responsible for the administration and management of the Common Core (CC) and Advanced Operations Courses (AOC) within the Army's distance learning (DL) program of officer graduate-level education. Department educates over 5,000 students annually, creating credentialed Basic Branch Field Grade Officers. Leads and supervises 71 civilian and Army officer faculty facilitating the multi-course professional military education program enhancing student officers' analytical, creative thinking, planning, and judgment skills. Primary coordinator with Department of the Army G-3/5/7 (Operations/Plans/Training), Human Resource Command (HRC), Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), National Guard Individual Training Branch Team, and the United States Army Reserve Leader Development Division for all information, requirements, and strategic messaging of the CC and AOC-DL courses.

Program Manager/Executive Director for the Advanced Operations Course - Distance Learning (AOC-DL) Program within the Command and General Staff Officer Course (CGSOC), part of the Department of Distance Education (DDE), Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC). Responsible for the administration and management of the Army's distance learning program of officer graduate-level education of over 750 students, creating credentialed Basic Branch Field Grade Officers. Leads and supervises 31 civilian and 8 Army officer faculty facilitating the 12-month AOC-DL program enhancing student officers' analytical, creative thinking, and judgment skills. Primary coordinator with Department Army G-3/5/7 (Operations/Plans/Training), Human Resource Command (HRC), Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), National Guard Individual Training Branch Team, and the United States Army Reserve Leader Development Division for all information, requirements, and strategic messaging of the CGSOC AOC-DL course. Also serves as Staff Group Leader/Instructor for one Staff Group of 16 Army Officer students, providing leadership, instruction, administrative guidance, and professional mentorship.

Deputy Director of Operations, Training, and Planning for a 480+ Soldier Army Reserve Division comprised of three Colonel-led brigades in five locations across two states. Serves as the Director of Operations in his absence. Responsible for all aspects of training and operations management for the Division. Assists the Division G-3 in advising the Division Commander on all Division operations, plans, and training issues. Responsible for mission management and the accomplishment of the Division's training mission in support of USAR Operational and Functional commands. Manages and recommends the allocation of training and operations resources for mission accomplishment. Responsible for the morale, welfare, and professional development of 37 assigned Officers, NCOs, and Civilians in a variety of grades and specialties.

Primary U.S. representative to the Artillery Forces of the Iraqi Army. Specialize in Foreign Military Sales for weapon systems, vehicles, and equipment needs. Also acts as an advisor for other requirements on Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P). Coordinates with U.S. Government organizations for support of all above requirements. Also coordinates with U.S. Defense Industry contractors for contracts, material, and support of the Iraqi Army. In addition to covering Iraqi Artillery cases, also covered Sustainment, Ammunition, and Engineering Asset cases. Provides feedback to Office of Security Cooperation - Iraq on how the Iraqi Artillery forces are functioning, and makes recommendations on how to improve their units. Developed a plan for the future of the Iraqi Army and what would be needed along the DOTMLPF spectrum.

Responsible for staff coordination with a primary focus on administrative, logistics, training, and resource aspects of the Brigade's mission requirements. Represents the commander at mission management meetings and provides liaison between the commander and the staff. Ensures all unit personnel maintain a deployable status ready for both CONUS and OCONUS training missions. Monitors the development and execution of assigned exercise resources and budget. Has a secondary responsibility to coordinate all aspects of the OCO mission task force to ensure their successful mission execution. Also has an additional duty to oversee Brigade recruiting efforts and engage in R2 events and work with local AC transition points. Also must be prepared to assume role as mission primary planning officer and senior OC/T.

Director of Operations, Training, and Planning for a 2400+ member Army Reserve command comprised of five General Officer-led divisions and 15 Colonel-led brigades in 19 locations across the continental United States. Responsible for all aspects of training and operations management for the command. Serves as senior adviser to the Commanding General on all command operations, plans, and training issues. Responsible for mission management and the accomplishment of the Command's training mission in support of allocated and apportioned forces across all Army components and in support of 1st US Army's training mission. Manages the command's mobilization capacity and recommends the allocation of training and operations resources for mission accomplishment. Responsible for the morale, welfare, and professional development of 43 assigned Officers, NCOs, and Civilians in a variety of grades and specialties.

Responsible for staff coordination with a primary focus on administrative, logistics, training, and resource aspects of the Brigade’s mission requirements. Represents the commander at mission management meetings and provides liaison between the commander and the staff. Ensures all unit personnel maintain a deployable status ready for both CONUS and OCONUS training missions. Monitors the development and execution of assigned exercise resources and budget. Also has an additional duty to oversee Brigade recruiting efforts and engage in R2 events and work with local AC transition points. Also must be prepared to assume role as mission primary planning officer and senior OC/T. Led bilateral evaluation team in large multinational exercise involving U.S. and Japanese forces. Educated 30 Japanese officers in current U.S. military operations and proper techniques for evaluating large-scale military exercises. Personally recognized by three general officers for outstanding results achieved by U.S. and Japanese evaluation teams.

Commander of battalion that provides training, readiness oversight, and mobilization of U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard units so that Combatant Commanders are provided trained and ready forces. Responsible for coordination and execution of pre-deployment training and combat readiness of directed RC forces. In coordination with deploying unit commanders, assists in ensuring unit morale, discipline, safety, force protection, logistics, and deployability. Responsible for the technical and tactical proficiency, welfare and professional development of 27 officers and NCO trainer/mentors assigned to the battalion. Ensures battalion TMs are fully prepared and capable of supporting any mission or task directed by brigade or division. While deployed, act as senior advisor to Afghan National Army battalion commander, and ensure his unit is trained and combat ready before they are deployed to their area of operations. Ensure my Soldiers are trained in their roles as advisors and trainers to the ANA, and are cognizant of cultural norms and taboos. Coordinate with teams from other NATO countries in areas where we partner together on training the ANA. Ensure my Soldiers are trained and proficient in all required skills for a theater of combat operations, and that they all come home.

Commands an 11 man Federal Police Battalion Transition Team. Responsible for advising, mentoring, coaching and training an Iraqi Federal Police Battalion consisting of 750 officers and policemen, commanded by an Iraqi Colonel in all aspects of their assigned missions for independent counterinsurgency operations in the city of Baghdad and their assigned area. Assists in developing relationships between the Federal Police and Coalition Partner units. Responsible for providing direct access to coalition effects in support of Federal Police operations. Stresses the Law of Armed Conflict and adherence to guidelines found in the Geneva Conventions. Also works with the Commanding General of all Federal Police in Iraq on developing Command and Staff training programs for his Division, Brigade, and Battalion Commanders. Responsible for the health, welfare, morale, and training of four officers, six NCOs and their families. Accountable for an operational budget over $100,000 and for the maintenance and accountability of assigned equipment valued in excess of $6 million.

Overall P&L responsibility for maintenance territory of over 100 customer accounts and over 200 individual systems, with annual revenue totaling over $5 million a year. Directly supervised 13 field technicians and coordinated daily with three different sales representatives in my territory. Managed labor and material budgets to remain within targeted metrics. Developed and implemented strategies within my territory to improve equipment reliability and performance, and improve customer satisfaction. Occasionally act as a sales contact to provide customers with proposals for equipment upgrades and additional services. Conduct supervisor surveys on customer's equipment to ensure my field techs are providing top quality service and maintaining the equipment to industry safety and performance standards. Perform safety audits on my field techs to ensure they are complying with established company safety policies. Conduct safety training with my field force to ensure they remain current on all company safety policies. Create and implement technical training program for the Branch field force in order to improve the overall level of technical education, and help my techs improve their individual skills.
