o Identified and pursued business opportunities for my group for mass production implementation, small batch prototype, advanced development, and racing programs.o Ensure DVP is on track and all necessary components are available to perform responsible tasks in a timely manner.o Create and maintain DFMEA’s for each project in a centralized controlled system.o Investigate development and warranty returned gaskets for root cause analysis and create technical analysis reports on findings and describe/implement potential solutions. o Interpret FE Analysis results and propose design changes that are feasible in the metal sealing system design to improve the overall function while staying cost conscious for initial prototype and production parts and tooling.o Support the multiple production plants worldwide that produce components to the OEMs in North America as a first point of contact/rapid response if concerns arise.o Support training/team building sessions at various production plants to train the production floor on the importance of each element on the parts being produced. o Creation of control plans for prototype orders using SAP applications with material selection, tooling knowledge, and details of process steps necessary to create a prototype gaskets.o Create quality control documents to ensure production plants were providing parts within spec to the final customer. Suggest preventative actions to the responsible production plant based on results.
