Management ConsultantEagle Ridge Golf Club May 2014 - PresentBuilt by successful real estate developers fifteen year’s prior, Eagle Ridge already enjoyed a highly regarded multimillion-dollar banquet / wedding catering operation when I became involved in the operation. However, changes in the market place, neglected course conditions and customer demographics resulted in the golf operations to under perform. Following a month long analysis of tee sheet booking practices, conducting focus groups, review of course conditions and rate evaluation - a course of action was presented to ownership. Changes to Eagle Ridge’s operating model and tee sheet management began in July 2014 followed by the removal of the golf course superintendent that fall. Over the next six months’ focus was given towards improving our on course product offering while aggressively marketing the quality of Eagle Ridge to new untouched northern markets, and enhancing our dynamic pricing strategies. The net result – in slightly more than 24 months revenue increase a remarkable $1,076,585 over the twelve-months period preceding the changes to the operation.
