I am passionate about and entirely committed to lifelong learning and growth.In my personal life, this often manifests as a deep dive into a hobby or pursuit that absorbs me for days, months, or even years — however long it takes to achieve some level of mastery, to feel like I’m reaching more of my potential.In my professional life, this passion and commitment translate as much to creating opportunities for the growth and development of those around me as it does to focusing on my own self-awareness and self-improvement as a leader.My approach to promoting the full-potential journey of my Farragut colleagues starts with a real effort on my part to listen thoughtfully and think deeply about what others are saying — and, as importantly, how they are saying it.I’m grateful for the gift of insight, which often then allows me to distill and synthesize information, communicate it in an accessible manner, and follow up with questions or facilitate discussions that encourage others to think differently about the matter at hand.People tell me that I’m a catalyst for progress. That I have a way of opening their minds to new possibilities. That I help them envision and create new pathways to solutions, to improvements that engender the best for our customers and employees.It’s my hope that I, in some small way, help those around me reach toward their full potential even as I reach toward my own.
