In a misspent youth, among other things I sharpened skates in Central Park for a year, then was one of the last remaining English speaking cab drivers in NYC while going to school at night. Love of harness racing as a youth (yes, that was me) led me to a lifelong career in horseracing that has taken me across the country to work at the nation's greatest racetracks. I began as a goofy kid working for nothing at tiny little Monticello Raceway in upstate New York, then onto Yonkers Raceway which led me to be part of the team that opened the Meadowlands in northern New Jersey which connected me to thoroughbreds where I have been ever since including the New York Racing Association's three tracks--Saratoga, Belmont and Aqueduct--Arlington Park, Sam Houston Park, Hollywood Park and, currently, the spectacular Santa Anita Park. (as you can see, i am also adept at writing run-on sentences). The last two years I have been Santa Anita Park's Breeders' Cup liaison and I am one lucky guy.Specialties: marketing, promotion, special events, branding, management
