-Managed and supervised 12,000 sq. ft. pilot plant facility including operational requirements for facility and production scheduling.-Conducted business development and technical sales, directed marketing activities, proposal preparation, presentations, and negotiations with clients. -Developed, monitored and managed all departmental and facility budgetary requirements and reported to senior management. -Mentored staff in support of conducting client based contract food research, product and process development, prototype development and technical consultation projects.-Developed unique small scale co-manufacturing capability to support entrepreneurs and SME's with interim transitional product delivery and launch. Assisted over 40 companies with production launches. -Hands on working knowledge of various pilot and production scale processing technologies including HTST, UHT, separators, decanters, homogenizers, pumps, fermentation vessels, ozonators and other sanitizing systems, aseptic systems, cheese processing and handling equipment, MAP and other packaging systems, membrane filtration and separation technologies including dead end, cartridge, microfiltration, UF, NF and RO. Also included is freeze, cabinet and spray drying technologies.
