I am on the health fair committee that organizes the Annual LULAC Health Fairs. I worked with other members to set up and run the event at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.I am the Co-chair for the 9th Annual LULAC Health Fair, which was postponed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

I worked on a project to enhance the NIR imaging of NETs using metal enhanced fluorescence. Previously, I helped characterize NET nanoparticles composed of erythrocyte ghosts, ICG, and antibodies to aid in the screening of ovarian cancer. I collected data for a NET freezing experiment to assess whether or not freezer storage affected the optical properties of NETs.
