As a mechanical engineer, I am currently one of the R&D team member developing "Techman Robot" industrial robot arms, e.g. TM5. (http://tm-robot.com)Experience:- Designed the arms (links) and joint modules (rotating modules) of the robot arm with team, cooperated with EE, ID.- Designed the cosmetic parts, like plastic covers and rubbers.- Designed and tested the adhesive structure connection of the robotic arm.- Designed the waterproof (IP54) and ESD solutions as product’s new features.- Calculated and simulated structures to get the suitable geometry and thickness of arms.- Calculated the time for the robot arm to accelerate to specific speed in different poses and loads.- Solved design problems, incoming quality issues and production issues, like sink marks of plastic, occasional cracks of plastic after assembling and noise issues of product, by cooperating with product engineers.
