About Allen Proithis

As a transformational business leader, I am known for creating break-through global programs, launching award-winning new products/services, and developing impactful strategic partnerships. Most recently, I have been leading a variety of advisory projects with a wide range of mobile and emerging technologies with Private Equity, large and emerging companies. This work includes the development of a broad range of 5G and IoT applications, strategy, partnerships and business models.I build and lead high performance teams to drive business opportunity to its full potential and monetization with the right application of strategy, partnerships, talent, and execution across geographies (North America, Europe, Asia) and technologies (IoT/M2M, mobile, software, emerging technologies)I created and led a high performance team at Sigfox that built an Internet of Things business for B2B partners and customers while providing wireless coverage to 70M+ US customers becoming the top performing country (out of 36) in the world.Bringing new business models to life on a large stage is my passion. I created a $155M IoT joint venture (Convida Wireless) with Sony, InterDigital and Stephens Capital as well as serving as Chairman while raising the venture’s valuation of the IP portfolio from $25M to $100M.I raised $15M to launch an Internet of Things data spinout (wot.io) from Interdigital, a worldwide IP leader. In less than a year, this award-winning company was recognized as ahead of its time worldwide.
