As a senior engineer:- Led the effort to rewrite from ground up the web interface for file browsing, converting hundreds of thousands of lines of spaghetti code into efficient components that massively improved performance and enabled further development.- Architected and built the require-2-factor-auth feature for Dropbox Teams.- Architected and designed the User Auth History tool for Dropbox Abuse Team.- Architected, designed, and built the Content Review Tool for internal use.- Built a multitude of internal tools for facilitating collaboration and communication at Dropbox.- Re-engineered the Shared Files page and pioneered improvements that boosted conversion rates by 10+%.- Created, maintained and ran senior-level engineering interview questions.- Won multiple Hack Week Awards.As one of the first remote employees at Dropbox: - pioneered and wrote the Remote Employee's Playbook.- Developed tooling to improve and speed up remote employee collaboration.- Developed the strict and fair methodology for regional comp calculation for remote employees.

At Zulip, I designed and implemented the frontend portions of a powerful collaborative tool for technical teams. As part of my work, I designed complex user flows, created a consistent visual style of the Zulip application, invented novel solutions to complex usability issues, and wrote highly performance-oriented code and markup that drove the user-facing parts of the app.Zulip is now open-sourced and available for everyone to use and build upon: http://www.zulip.org

At Yahoo!, I worked on YUI Library, a popular open source offering of front-end modules and utilities used both internally by nearly all Yahoo! properties, as well as by thousands of web developers outside of the company. In my work, I wrote code in JavaScript (both client-side and server-side), ActionScript, and PHP, extensively used HTML5 and CSS3 for markup and layout, and produced content and assets in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Final Cut.
