I’m an Executive Director of Risk Management for Wells Fargo, with the mind of a CEO and the heart of a servant leader. My job is to solve problems, grow business, innovate solutions, develop strategic relationships with C-level decision-makers and mitigate risks. I’m a born thrill-seeker who is always up for an adventure. Throughout my life, I have mastered Yacht racing in the Pacific, climbed dozens of summits, completed 100+ skydiving jumps, rode my motorcycle solo across the U.S, 6500 miles through Canada, and 1000 miles around South American, Afghanistan, and up through China to the border of Kyrgyzstan. One of my most memorable experiences was participating in an outward-bound trip to try something new, difficult, enormously challenging, and stressful. This experience was life-changing and taught me valuable leadership principles:* Remain calm with team members and level-headed to ensure unusual situations don’t escalate into worse problems.* Focus on the solution and not the problem.* Support my team and the individuals in it to achieve goals.Since 2001, as a young VP of MSR Evaluations, I mastered designing, developing, and accessing large-scale databases to create risk models. I gained a reputation as a leader who confidently recommends deals or exit strategies.In 2010, I began to build risk assessment muscle for Wells Fargo’s Asset-Backed Line of Business, overseeing an enormous asset portfolio. I started writing risk reviews, and ultimately my insights were instituted to lead strategic relationship management decisions with servicers, originators, asset managers, and rights evaluations.For years, I have flown 150,000 miles annually to meet with clients. I treasure being a leader who can quickly build trust with diverse constituents by sharing stories about my world travels. I influence deals by listening to C-suite decision-makers' needs and offering strategic insights concerning global markets and their unique business challenges.It comes to this: I love advising C-level decision-makers about risks.
