Hello, my name is Allera (Ally) Bee. I am a junior at Virginia Tech, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. I am studying multimedia journalism with a minor in psychology. At the beginning of my sophomore year, I started as a marketing and events student intern at Virginia Tech Athletics. During this time, I worked in the promotions booth during sporting events, with half-time acts and performances, and assisted with promotions during media breaks. This experience helped me get my foot in the door in the college sports world as well as gain important sports marketing and communication knowledge. During my college career, I plan to gain as much from my college athletic department as I can to support myself in a career in sports post-college. My career interests include player engagement, player personnel, sports psychology, sports communications, and sports journalism.
