My teams were responsible for both change and run activities.I partnered with business stakeholders in EMEA, Americas, Asia and ANZ to understand their strategy, define their delivery roadmap and prioritise their budget, projects and resources. I consulted with Enterprise Architects, Data Architects and Product Owners on solution designs and influenced platform roadmaps. I worked with internal technology teams, vendors and resourcing partners to clear roadblocks and ensure projects were delivered on time and on budget. I built up multiple DevOps teams to deliver Big data projects to meet Financial Regulatory Reporting obligations, both in region and in ANZ. I ensured platforms were appropriately supported and I drove automation and promoted a culture of continuous improvement.

As the Head of PMO for the Cybersecurity division, I was responsible for project governance, defining the cybersecurity strategy, tracking the delivery of the cybersecurity programme against our strategy and the uplift of our management reporting to senior executives, the Macquarie Board and Regulators. I also held the role of secretary for the Cybersecurity Steering committee where I worked with the CISO to uplift the format, materials and target reporting on cyber initiatives moving to a metric driven approach.I worked with Service owners to manage and prioritise key programs and initiatives, ensuring that metrics were in place to track progress against the cybersecurity strategy and commitments made to internal stakeholders, the Board and Regulators. I tracked our strategic programs to ensure alignment with our strategic goals and to drive accountability with the service owners.I led budget reviews with the Cybersecurity leadership team to identify cost saving opportunities resulting in recommendations allowing us to fund major cybersecurity initiatives through reinvestment.One of my key achievements was defining the 3 year strategy and roadmap for the Cybersecurity division in consultation with the CISO and the Cybersecurity leadership team.

In this role, I was responsible for the operation and financial control of the Cybersecurity division. I prepared and oversaw the administration of budgets, procurement, resource management and financial planning in order to ensure we met our cost targets. I advised senior leaders and stakeholders on financial, compliance and organisational matters.My key responsibilities included:- Budget and forecasting activities including assessing and reviewing finances and putting forward budget recommendations - Communicating our costs and charge back model to various business divisions and obtaining their buy-in and sign-off on any variances.- Managing procurement for hardware, software and services.- Resource management including headcount, recruitment tracking and recruitment strategies- Management reporting and internal communications across various channels, including Town Halls - Business resilience activitiesAlong with the business management role I was also responsible for the overall management of the Cybersecurity Programme and for reporting on the health and progress of the programme to senior executives and stakeholders.

I managed multiple projects simultaneously consisting of cross-functional project teams across a global workforce alongside key vendor partners. I chaired Steering Committees consisting of internal and external senior stakeholders on large-scale network programs.I worked with the Chief Information Security Officer to define the Cybersecurity roadmap and budget and was responsible for reporting on program progress and financial management. I sourced and developed a high performing delivery team consisting of project managers and business analysts to work alongside cybersecurity engineers and vendors to deliver an uplift in security capabilities for Macquarie Group.

I worked in Macquarie's Banking and Financial Services North America office as a Program manager driving initiatives with a focus on Macquarie Private Wealth. I led a team of project managers, business analysts and testers to deliver business projects. This was achieved in partnership with the technology, marketing, compliance and legal teams along with external vendors. I maintained the roadmap and book of work for the business which included setting and managing the overall program budget.

Our teams are largely based in Sydney, with systems integration testing outsourced to Manila. I partnered with Program managers in the business team to help define the roadmap and pipeline of work for the programs.

I worked in partnership with a business program manager to define the project pipeline for the Direct Distribution channel. One of the key initiatives was to re-launch our secure online portal and migrate ownership (support and development) to a newly formed team. I defined the IT governance including roles and responsibilities across account teams.

I took on a team of 11 staff across the Cards and Payments programs, hiring an additional 6 staff to successfully deliver the first white-label (Jetstar) and first co-brand (Hilton) offerings for the Macquarie Consumer Finance (MCF) team. The projects ran in parallel and were completed in a 3 month timeframe as per the remit set to meet time to market. During this time, BAU upgrades of core cards systems were also delivered by my team. I continued as program manager managing the pipeline of work for Cards and Payments.

I worked on a program established to deliver the technology required to support an online share trading system. The program provided the technology required to launch a new business aimed at revolutionising the online trading space, differentiated from existing players through its access to premium products and services, and a unique user experience. I managed both the business and IT streams while also having line management responsibility for the business analysts, testers and operations staff. The $11M program consisted of multiple IT and business streams and was just over 50 staff at its peak.

I worked closely with the business to define their roadmap for the year and liaised with key vendors to align their product roadmaps and releases into our pipeline. I worked on an initiative to consolidate and streamline the adviser application landscape into one offering called the Adviser Desktop. This was successfully piloted and approved by the business as the platform of choice. It has since been matured and expanded and remains core to the adviser desktop suite.
