As a head lifeguard, I oversee the guards during regular shifts and in-service training, I complete chemical checks, patron counts, and regularly monitor fill levels for all five pools. I’m responsible for opening and closing the natatorium entrances and leading event set up/tear down alongside event leads and supervisors.

As a counselor on program staff, I was primarily in charge of the safety and development of two groups of 8th and 9th grade campers. Additionally, I was tasked with teaching swimming, canoeing, cross country, and Project Phoebe (community service-based class) to campers of various ages ranging from eight to sixteen.
