-Carried a caseload of 400 undergraduate students in two different academic units, the Engineering Plus Program and Open Option Engineering-The Engineering Plus Program has over 120 possible degree combinations and Open Option Engineering required collaboration with each department and program in the college to ensure accurate first-year course advising, curriculum guidance, and career information-Monitored students' academic performance by directing students who demonstrate strong academic performance to more challenging educational opportunities, and intervened with students in academic difficulty to recommend new approaches to time management and study skills, and referred them to appropriate support services-Provided guidance and support to parents and families to instill self-authorship and support to their undergraduate student while maintaining compliance with FERPA-Facilitated timely transfer credit evaluation for students, including department and program decision-making on the applicability of any transfer credit. Ensured that the decisions are accurately reflected in the online degree audit and communicated with the Registrar’s Office-Presented college-wide academic success workshops covering time management and study techniques-Leveraged and collaborated with campus resources, support services, and referred students when appropriate-Trained new college staff on the campus advising system, MyCUHub, integrative calendar, email syncing, and advising note logging system.-Engage with students prior to studying abroad to assist in the transferability of courses-Developed an advising handbook for the Engineering Plus Program and redesigned the presentation of the curriculum to students-Built a peer mentoring program for the Engineering Plus Degree Program between upperclassmen and incoming new students to build community among students in the degree program
