Allie worked in Washington, DC first as Associate Minority Council to the US House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture and later as an Executive Assistant to the Secretary of Agriculture. She then moved back to Kansas and joined the Kansas Livestock Association for two years as its Director of Research. In 1995, Governor Bill Graves appointed Allie as the Kansas Secretary of Agriculture, a position she held for 4 years. Upon completion of her role as the Secretary of Agriculture, Allie returned to the KLA as its Vice President and General Counsel for twelve years. In 2011, Allie and John Donley formed Devine & Donley, LLC. Allie has also worked as an adjunct professor at Washburn University School of Law, teaching Agricultural Law.Twenty-five years working in and out of government. Specialties include: tax, agricultural law, environmental regulations, transportation, immigration, and other areas affecting general business interests.
