About Emily (Allie) Ayers

In December 2016, I graduated with a B.S in Graphic Communications with a minor in Packaging Science. Towards the end of the semester, I thought I had my next few years of post-graduate life set with a career in design. However, in October 2016, I was presented with the opportunity to receive my Master's in Packaging Science on a full academic scholarship starting immediately after graduation. Instantly, the plans I had made for after graduation changed. I seized the opportunity to receive a Masters in a field I am very passionate about. I now work for DuPont Cyrel as a Technical Applications Specialist, utilizing my knowledge in graphic communications and packaging science.For the past 6+ years DuPont‘s Technical Applications Team has provided me with a perfect combination of packaging, technical, business, and graphics. I also work with multiple educational programs such as Clemson, Central Piedmont Community College, and Cal Poly to help get students excited about the print industry. It is my own private initiative to make sure students feel more secure and confident when entering they careers in the print industry.
