As the (volunteer) leader of Hillary volunteers in Berkeley and the staging location director at our Berkeley/Albany office, I organized thousands of volunteers. I assembled, trained and managed a team of volunteers who helped to run and host phone banks as well as train other volunteers as phone bankers. I managed our temporary office in Albany for the last couple weeks of the campaign, where over two thousand volunteers came to make calls. I also managed our email campaigns that helped to make us one of the biggest phone banking operations in the country.

Integrated the technology built at IQ Engines into Flickr search. Before Yahoo acquired IQ Engines, Flickr's search functionality relied on human tagging. With the addition of our computer vision algorithms, Flickr's search now uses AI to understand the contents of a photo, without relying solely on human tagging.

At IQ Engines, I was part of a team developing computer vision algorithms to allow photographers to organize and search their pictures with little human intervention. We organized pictures by classifying the type of scene photographed, by identify objects in a photograph, and by identifying the people photographed. IQEngines was acquired by Yahoo in August 2013.
