I am currently working as a Cataloging and Metadata Librarian with an MLIS from the University of South Carolina. Over twenty years in theatre have allowed me to quickly memorize text and adapt to situations while presenting to a large, public audience. Working in various libraries for the last decade has given me a broad knowledge of books, technology, and research resources. I am very comfortable with travel, public speaking, and computers.My experiences in the career world are varied, but I think that adds to my skills. I am a fast learner and love taking on new challenges. I want to excel in whatever I do and work hard to ensure that happens. I have worked in libraries, retail, theatre, executive real estate, and Disney World, all of which have given me life skills that stand out and help me adapt to many situations.My husband and I also own a small business, flipping houses and managing rental properties. We are self-taught and have grown immensely throughout the process.
