As an Isenberg Student Ambassador, I work in the Undergraduate Programs Office. I facilitate tours of Isenberg to prospective students, answer phone calls and emails, book breakout rooms, and assist the operations staff when necessary.

At Monkey Bar, I am in charge of reaching out to student clubs and organizations and help them create an event with us. Whether it be for a formal or a fundraiser, I help them from start to finish by editing and sending event contracts and helping them with whatever they may need. I also come up with special themed nights at the club. For these, I create VIP and special guest lists by utilizing Microsoft Excel, and I make sure they are updated and accurate for the bar staff. I create marketing email chains to keep our guests updated as well.

Umass Amherst

As the external philanthropy chair, I organize and plan fundraising events to raise awareness and money for four main organizations: Jewish Women International. American Heart Association, Prevent Child Abuse America and UMass FTK for Baystate Children's Hospital. I create flyers for social media to advertise for various philanthropy events for the chapter. I also oversee two assistants that I delegate to who help me complete these tasks. I also collaborate with other Greek life organizations to raise money for philanthropies and volunteer within the community. As a member of the executive board of the Psi chapter, I help lead our sorority while upholding our values.

As the marketing and events intern, I was responsible for selling, marketing, auditing, and hosting our weekly wine dinners and midsummer barbecues. I was trained following the Forbes 5 Star and LQA standards, and utilized this training when interacting with our guests. I created seating charts and guests lists for these events as well. I facilitated property tours for both in house guests and weddings inquiries, and had the pleasure of working a wedding alongside our GM and sales manager. When I was not doing sales, I was a front office agent in which I assisted with guest services, concierge, and valet.

As an event assistant, I help plan and execute many events from weddings to corporate events. I facilitate venue tours and review pricing information for potential customers so that they are informed when they are looking to book our Red Barn. I help with event set up, break down, and flip setups during events as well. I assist clients during the event with any requests, call tables for dinner, and answer questions or concerns of guests. In the office I complete event order forms, draft invoices, and layout diagrams to ensure clear expectations for customers and an organized event.

As an office assistant, I was the first person students and staff saw upon entering the Undergraduate Office. At the front desk I helped answer any questions they had in person, through email, or over the phone, and helped determine whether they should meet with an adviser. I scheduled meetings with advisers by utilizing online programs, and helped conduct efficient meetings during the busy summer new student orientation. I was also responsible for logging and scanning important documents.

As a teachers assistant, I help my students through their leadership-based living and learning academic program that I was a member of my freshman year. I mentor students on class assignments, address concerns, or answer any questions they have regarding the program or Isenberg in general. I also assist my advisor in taking attendance.

As a cashier, I interact with hundreds of students on campus every day. I answer any questions they may have about the food they are purchasing and provide quality customer service. I assist in opening by stocking shelves and preparing buffet stations. At the register, I take many different forms of payment including cash, credit card, and student or faculty ID transactions. And at the end of the day, I ensure a balanced register.

As a caterer, I served guests at weddings with appetizers and salads, and plated main courses. I also assisted in running the buffet station. I conveyed accurate information about ingredients with guests that were concerned with food allergies. I also duplicated precise place settings as well as clear the dishes when guests were finished.

I lead two to four year olds through structured camp activities. I was able to pass my experience on to younger employees in teaching them regulations and how to fill out necessary paperwork. I learned valuable customer service skills through communicating with parents and guardians.

In my last semester of high school I had the pleasure of interning for my class advisors. I got to help them plan various events like prom, fundraisers, and class dances! I communicated with various event coordinators and DJs to ensure stellar events, and learned how to handle and organize money.
