About Allison Grech
I am a motivated Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and Registered Dietitian (RD) with experience in clinical dietetics, scientific research and communication, and mentoring. I am passionate about food and nutrition, particularly in women’s and children’s health, sustainability and food waste. My PhD contributed to the 'BABY1000' study, which seeks to identify, understand and help influence interactions before and during pregnancy that can contribute to the development of health and disease. My research focuses on maternal and infant nutrition and its influence on the gut microbiome and subsequent health effects across the lifespan.
