About Allison Aponte

In December 2012, I was awarded the Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education where I focused on choral music education. As a pianist, I am able to accompany NYSSMA competitions and classroom activities. In addition to the piano, I have studied multiple band instruments and can play guitar. I completed fieldwork at Pittsford-Mendon High School and Northwood Elementary School where I became familiar with the high standards of two successful music programs. My student teaching was in Rush-Henrietta Central School District where I was entrusted with teaching music to all learners in a variety of settings. I aspire to become a life-long effective music educator who establishes positive, proactive, and meaningful learning experiences for students, school, and community alike. If I am fortunate, I hope to some day retire from the profession.

Children must be at least 10 years old to take voice lessons. Beginner lessons are a half hour long and cost $10. Hour lessons are available for advanced students at $20 per hour.
