WSU proudly graduates artists and designers whose work energizes our cultural landscape and the economy. Graduates of the school become accomplished teachers, successful entrepreneurs, innovative designers and engaged artists, each contributing to the creative communities of Wichita and beyond.The name of the school – now embracing the importance of art and design’s relationship to community, business and industry – reflects our belief in creativity as a pillar of everyday life. Responsible for establishing the global arm of a 600+ person organization including defining new roles, responsibilities, governance, and associated strategy and planning as the new organization evolved. Managed the 20+ person Operations team with in the organization to drive cross-process and cross-region efficiencies across purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, hire-to-retire, travel, and operations. Led the direct staff strategy and planning activities to determine fiscal year priorities, goals, and related activities including bi-annual site reviews. Partnered annually with Finance systems project team to drive annual systems planning for $10M+ annual budget for the organization.
