Represent federal government employees in proceedings such as administrative hearings and appeals before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), as well as with respect to proposed disciplinary actions, security clearance revocation proceedings, claims for federal workers’ compensation benefits, applications for disability retirement, and union arbitrations.

Focused research on legal issues in workers' compensation under the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act. Prepared a comprehensive overview of updates in employment law on the national level, with specific focus on the Fourth and Sixth Circuits.

Focused research on the impact and prospective implications of the "materially adverse" standard for retaliation cases set forth in Burlington Northern v. White, 548 U.S. 53 (2006).
