Current• Advance knowledge regarding sexual development, behavior, LGBTQ, and other aspects of sexuality.• Perform all aspects of professional counseling, including intake interviews, assessment, treatment planning, discharge and follow-up.• Counsel children, adolescents, families, and adults individually, and in group treatment.• Provide preventive services through education to children, adolescents, and families.• Assist, support and educate families who have children with various endocrine conditions that affect their psychosexual development.• Lead a support group for girls with Turner Syndrome and their families and organize annual events.• Consult and collaborate with various medical and mental health professionals, parents, and others to provide the best standard of care for clients.• Advocate for clients by visiting schools and community agencies to educate administrators, teachers, and staff about medical conditions and DSM-5 psychiatric diagnoses that affect sexual development.• Perform all tasks that necessitate running a successful private practice.
