As a Psychologist, licensed for over 20 years, I currently serve as Regional Clinical Director of a growing practice in the Greater Pittsburgh Region of PA that offers therapy, nutrition, medication management, and interventional psychiatric services. I hold an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) granted by PSYPACT®️, and I continue to provide some direct care. My clinical interests include adolescent health and the interaction of mental and physical health. Although I primarily use a Cognitive Based Mindfulness Therapy approach as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), I integrate person-centered and psychodynamic approaches into my work depending on the needs of the client. I have a history of strong demonstrated leadership skills at the University of Colorado Denver where I served in various roles including BA Psychology Major Advisor, Director of the Clinical MA program, Director of the Clinical Health PhD program, Director of Clinical Training, and Clinic Director in addition to my undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentorship. In addition to my strong professional background, I am a lover of sports, and I had the honor of playing defensive back for the Pittsburgh Passion Women's Football program from 2016-2017.
