I graduated from Illinois State University in May 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science. After graduation, I became a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Carle Foundation Hospital. I work in the microbiology, hematology, blood bank, and chemistry departments. I am certified as an MLS(ASCP) as well.During my undergrad, I found a passion for epidemiology and public health. I decided to delve into this subject by applying for and beginning Illinois State University's Master's in Public Health program. I expect to graduate in May of 2025. I am eager to continue learning about the various disciplines of public health through my coursework and identify my public health career path.
