Forming relationships with families allows for collaboration, trust, and creates a clear path towards success. I believe every student has the same opportunity for success, and it is my privilege as an educator to provide scholars with the tools and confidence needed in order to succeed.

  Throughout my experience in diverse first grade classrooms, I have planned and facilitated differentiated lessons while collaborating with faculty and developing rapport with, and respect for students and families. When creating lesson plans I focus on standards, learning targets, and create engagement through inquiry based discovery, project based learning, as well as the use of technology and manipulatives. My classroom environment is centered around consistency through logical consequences and expected routines. I maintain an energetic classroom through positive reinforcement supported by a home to school connection. Through collaboration with colleagues, students, and family, I strive to provide my students with the highest chance of success. I maintain consistent and high expectations for all of my scholars.
