Along with co-founders Dr. Arthur D. Anastopoulos and Dr. Laura H. Besecker, collaborate on adapting and refining the ACCESS Program (Accessing Campus Connections & Empowering Student Success), an evidence-based program utilizing cognitive behavioral principles for college students with ADHD, to a real-world virtual format.Develop materials and program content for online delivery of ACCESS.Lead 8-week, 90-minute group sessions delivering knowledge of ADHD, behavioral strategies for managing symptoms and impairment related to ADHD, and adaptive thinking skills. Supervise graduate student trainees delivering the ACCESS program on their university campuses.Develop and provide trainings to clinicians interested in delivering ACCESS to students on their college campuses.

Provide psychological assessment of adult ADHD, as well as psychotherapy for adults (18+) targeting mood and anxiety disorders, interpersonal struggles, and stress management. Therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques.

Full-time postdoctoral fellowship in adult and adolescent clinical psychology in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine. All clinical rotations took place within Ben Taub General Hospital, the primary teaching hospital for Baylor College of Medicine and serving the highly diverse population of Harris County, Texas. Rotations included: Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Service; Adult Outpatient Psychology Service; Consultation/Liaison Service for medical inpatients; and the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program. Conducted individual and group therapy using CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches. Conducted comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for youth and adults with a variety of referral questions. Trained Baylor College of Medicine medical students and psychiatry residents on topics related to psychological services including therapy and assessment approaches.

Full-time predoctoral clinical psychology internship in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine, including several emphasis areas:Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Served as a primary clinician for patients enrolled in a 10-week multi-disciplinary IOP program geared towards patients with borderline personality disorder, as well as patients with complex mood and anxiety disorders who require a higher level of care than standard outpatient treatment. Services also included providing emergency crisis management care, co-facilitating an interpersonal process group, and contributing to treatment team meetings. Adult Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatry Service: Provided consultation services in an adult acute inpatient psychiatry unit, as described above. Also facilitated a weekly seminar for BCM medical students to provide education on psychological assessment, therapy, and the role of psychologists within multi-disciplinary treatment teams; conducted comprehensive psychological and cognitive assessments in the Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic; and fulfilled consultation-liaison responsibilities at Ben Taub Hospital, as described above. Baylor Psychiatry Clinic (BPC) & Baylor Student Counseling Service (SCS): Provided weekly psychotherapy to outpatient adults through a community outpatient clinic (BPC) and to Baylor College of Medicine Students (SCS), utilizing evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and ACT to treat a range of presenting problems, including mood, anxiety, and personality disorders as well as interpersonal and adjustment problems.

Conducted evidence-based evaluations for adults, college students, and youth with a focus on ADHD, as well as mood, anxiety, thought, substance use, and learning disorders. Implemented empirically-supported cognitive behavioral individual and family therapies for ADHD and comorbid disorders. Assisted with the development and implementation of a grant-funded, open trial CBT group and mentoring program for college students with ADHD.

Provided empirically-supported treatments, as well as psychological and cognitive assessments, to individuals and families in a community outpatient clinic to youth, parents, and adults of diverse backgrounds. Co-facilitated a psychoeducational therapy group for adults with Bipolar Disorder.
