Allison Cannella is a Gallery Director at Slate Gray Gallery. She possess expertise in art history, contemporary art, adobe creative suite, italian translation, event management and 3 more skills. Together we worked on TIAB's inaugural biennial that was upended by the pandemic. During this tumultuous time, we had to adapt to a new virtual reality in the midst of the global crisis that had an increased effect on our community - immigrants in the US - whose visa status were in jeopardy as administrative services shut down and suffered uncertainty and alienation due to travel bans. Allison was steadfast, creative, and communicative in our joint process of creating new modalities of seeing artists work, exhibiting it, reaching audiences, and finding ways to build and support our new community. She had an excellent handle on the new technologies we used to disseminate our programming and is a strong communicator.
