Hired after a significant growth through acquisition in order to:•Develop internal process and policies in accordance with GAAP•Develop and implement budget models for multiple companies to approximately 80 individual profit centers levels•Review financials for month end and year end close•Review sales tax returns for 10 states•Liaise with external accountant on income tax issues

•Research and counsel tax affects on transactions and business decisions for multi-tiered corporate entities and international divisions.•Complete Federal, state, and sales and use tax audits for parent company and all subsidiaries.•Complete consolidated Federal, 24 consolidated state, and 61 single company state/local tax returns for multi-tiered network of 13 entities.•File quarterly estimated payments and extensions for the foregoing.•Calculate monthly income taxes in accordance with FAS 109.•Supervise other tax team in the preparation and completion of 100+ monthly sales/use tax returns with filings in all states with sales/use tax and most separate local jurisdictions.
