As a marketing coordinator, I assisted with the entire rebrand of our casino property as we transitioned from Isle Casino to Century Casino Cape Girardeau. I currently manage and update all social media platforms while also using new strategies to increase engagement. Part of increasing engagement includes developing paid ads and electing different groups to target to ensure maximum reach. I also continuously maintain the company website, app information and respond to contact requests. This position also includes booking entertainment for our casino while working within a budget and developing contracts for each entertainer. After booking, I promote sales for all entertainment events using all our digital mediums as well as assist with all concerts and VIP events by developing agendas, creating décor, working with vendors, managing sales and profitability, and assuring the events provides a memorable experience for our guests. Finally, I contribute to the creation and approval of promotional mail, emails and collateral and also design and print signage throughout the casino property. Some of the best moments as a coordinator have been providing our guest with a great experience by executing promotions each week!

As a supervisor, I was responsible for marketing new and returned business including overall customer satisfaction. I worded on building and maintaining relationships with VIP players to ensure profitability while also providing an unique experience for each guests based on their individual wants and needs. This position taught me to use efficient problem solving skills in order to resolve customer complaints and requests. I enjoyed organizing bus tours to the casino through group sales and acting as a host when groups arrived on property to ensure guests had a great experience. Finally, this role included all hiring, training, evaluating, scheduling, and delivering of all disciplinary actions for department team members.

I also oversaw Fan Club attendants out on the front line and assisted with guest issues. As an intern, I assisted as a team member and learned roles in each department. This internship enhanced my computer, customer service, and multitasking skills. I spent the Summer building relationships with guests, vendors, and owners. I worked with owners and provided updates on their properties while recommending ways to increase profitability. I also provided quick solutions to guest issues and assisted them with planning their excursions on their trip.
