I am a Data Analyst with experience analyzing and interpreting data in SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI. My passion for data is rooted in my desire to help companies better serve and support people in their communities. Specializing in communicating data-driven insights, I am able to transform presentations to communicate findings to Executive, Technical, and Non-Technical audiences alike. I earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo in addition to a Data Analytics Career-Track Certificate from Springboard School of Data. So far I have earned 15+ additional certificates in data analytics and business intelligence.In addition to my 400+ hours of real-world data analysis projects, I have 3 years experience as a 9-12 Teacher for a Drop Out Recovery and Prevention community school, where my passion for using data to problem solve and help companies better support the people they serve was first cultivated. In this position I recorded data collected through student surveys to analyze their shared experiences, and observed students’ behaviors and needs. I then conducted a consulting session with them to collect further data, determined the student’s main obstacles, and used structured thinking to come up with effective solutions (SMART strategy) to optimize their success.My passion is in people, and the environment. While I have spent years in helping professions, my after-hours have always surrounded nature and environmental studies.
