In my dissertation, “The Identification of Transcriptional Signatures of Steroid Response in Human Neurons and microRNA Networks as Contributors to Reproductive Steroid Pathology,” I utilized next generation sequencing (NGS) and bioinformatics techniques (R, python, Unix) to identify key gene expression differences and pathway changes in response to sex.

I designed, executed, and optimized a behavioral experiment that showed mosquitos prefer some people more than others. I then piloted experiments to analyze blood metabolites and skin microbiota to explore potential reasons *why* mosquitoes show preferences between individuals.
