About Allison Gregory
I’m not your average non profit executive. Of course, I have strong relationship building skills, geek out over a good data set, and can network with the best of them. But I’m also a project manager, a community builder, and a leadership coach (I also make a mean pie, so I have been told). Ultimately, I want to utilize my skills to help nonprofits maximize their impact with the limited resources they have. My background, while extensive, isn’t traditional. I have held job titles such as Executive Director, Marketing Manager, Owner/Operator, and President. But to be honest, owning a restaurant taught me the most about life, business and people: It takes passion and guts to run a restaurant, imagination and humor to keep employees engaged, and empathy and patience to provide outstanding customer service. It taught me many skills I utilize today, to meet people where they are, determine their needs, and add value to their lives.I now employ these strengths in managing successful relationship building, developing sustainable fundraising sources, and making a difference where I can. My passion for helping nonprofits make more impact is coupled with a love for big-picture planning and relationship management. I’m not an employee who just wants to go to work.
