As an intern with International Medical Aid, I had the opportunity to spend 8 weeks in Mombasa, Kenya. During these 8 weeks, I spent time working closely with doctors from different specialties including ENT, radiology, ICU, pediatrics, internal medicine and emergency medicine. I collected patient vitals, took patient histories and had the chance to speak with people from different backgrounds. On weekends, we conducted free medical clinics for the community as well as lead different hygiene clinics for the children. These hygiene clinics allowed me the chance to teach children how to properly wash their hands, brush their teeth and proper feminine hygiene.

Peer TA for Psychology 101. Duties include grading assignments and exams, sending out reminders about due dates, keeping track of attendance, monitoring online chats and discussions, and helping students with course work

Duties included transcribing textbooks into an alternate format to help students with sight disabilities. Also in charge of captioning videos for students with hearing disabilities. Includes knowledge of Kaltura and Microsoft Teams.Involves skills such as paying attention to minute details and having experience with Adobe reader

Involved in a virtual summer research program with Yale University that is concentrating on cancer therapy drugs and the use of Proteolysis Targeting Chimeras (PROTAC's) and their potential for anticancer therapies.Set to do a presentation describing the use and effectiveness of PROTAC's on the treatment of different kinds of cancers.

-In charge of keeping patient rooms, nurses stations as well as stock room stocked. -Provide suture, Urine Analysis as well as IV kits for IV carts and physicians
