I am a student at Wakeland High School and I aspire to pursue a career in nursing. Through the ISM program and taking various health science courses, I aim to be successful in research analysis and my overall understanding of the medical field. I have a passion for serving others, caring for others, and helping who I can in a personal way. At Wakeland, I am part of HOSA where I study and compete in clinical nursing. I am also part of NTHS and Eco Club where my passion for helping the environment and desire to see the world clean lies. Since May of 2020, I have been working at a pie shop called MeLisa The Pie Lady. At my job, I work with various people of different backgrounds and life experiences where I am able to learn from them. I also answer the phone, help customers, and take orders. Recently, I have gained training experience by teaching our new employee. Overall, I have learned good customer service and how to better communicate with all different types of people. I hope that my personal skills are reflected in my work and career as I continue to learn and grow through the ISM program.
