Developed and implemented a comprehensive mental health and well-being program for City Year’s AmeriCorps members and staff, fostering a culture of flexibility, accessibility, and holistic support. Conducted a thorough assessment of well-being needs and established strategic partnerships with leading mental health organizations, including Crisis Text Line, Active Minds, The Jed Foundation, Brio, and the Kripalu Institute for Yoga & Health. These collaborations enhanced mental health benefits, expanded skill-building opportunities, and elevated employee engagement.Key accomplishments included launching a centralized Mental Health Hub, co-designing a research-based mental health training series, and securing a $1M+ in-kind partnership with Happier to provide multi-year, no-cost meditation app subscriptions. These initiatives delivered evidence-based programming and resources to thousands across the organization. Additionally, I provided ongoing consultation to City Year’s 29 sites, equipping local teams to better support the experience, belonging, and well-being of corps members and staff.

A key achievement was partnering with Harvard Kennedy School on a mental health research project, where we identified critical challenges and developed actionable recommendations. I also secured a $150K grant to enhance organizational capacity, which supported the creation of a partnership strategy and toolkit for 29 sites, streamlining partnership selection and management. Additionally, I guided a cross-functional team in crafting business cases for strategic investments in recruitment, staff development, teacher pathways, and social-emotional learning, all designed to support sustainable growth and development across the organization.
