Virginia Range Fertility Control Program Coordinator
Current-Manage a team of 50+ volunteers, which includes providing training on darting, documenting, and diversionary feeding, as well as ensuring proper volunteer supply distribution.-Grew social media following on AWHC Virginia Range Facebook page by 47% over a 12-month period, with continued growth weekly by independently creating and managing content. -Cultivate business relationships with 140 property owners across the 300,000 acres of land across the Virginia Range to sustain partnerships in support of wild horse population control activities.-Develop and maintain partnerships with research scientists across the US and Africa to obtain insight on AWHC data analytics, and to provide a model for their research for fertility control programs for other species.-Create weekly reports on population reduction metrics across the Virginia Range for local stakeholders, including the Nevada Department of Agriculture and private businesses.
