My professional goal is to transform the preservation of cells. I have created and offered professional short courses on preservation to help people who use preservation understand scientific principles and best practices. That experience inspired me to write a book entitled, "Preservation of cells: a practical manual". My research has involved developing new DMSO-free methods of preserving cells.
