Working at AT&T, I had the opportunity to learn the AT&T POS (point of sales) system. Iwould meet and greet customers as they entered the store. I would go into the AT&T POSsystem and help the customer with their phone plans, whether it was an upgrade to theirphone or an addition to their existing lines. If they had trouble with their phones, I wasable to reset or troubleshoot their phones. When there would be no customers in the store,I would take inventory count for the items in the store. I also handled money on a dailybasis. Opening shifts, I would transfer and set up the phones and accessories from thesafe into the store. Closing shift, I would take down the phones and accessories and putthem away in the safe. • Door Control

Working for Screamageddon, I was a door control operator. I was the person who stood atthe beginning of the entrance to an attraction. I was responsible for two lines, theregular admission and the VIP lines. The VIP lines were people who paid more money to skipthe regular admission and get right to the front entrance. Therefore, they would wear aticket on a necklace and I was resposible for punching a hole through their ticket to letme know that they're going through the attraction first. The regular admission line, Iwould count a certain amount of people and let them pass through to the attraction. Atthen end of the day, I would make sure my line was nice and neat and that there was nogarbage in it. Beginning of shift, I would check my line for trash and set up theattraction entrance.

Working on a sort line at TCG, resulted in extreme concentration and fast hands. As thebelt line would pass by, there would be materials on it that would move along and fallinto a gaylord ( big huge box ) at the end of the line. My job was to watch the materialsgo by and pick out the ones that didn't belong and throw them into another gaylord. Thematerials consisted of steel, aluminum, plastic, greenboard, copper, brass, etc. Workingin the Teardown area, we would take apart ADT Security equipment to find batteries andpossible mercury sticks and radioactive materials. We would save the batteries and at theend of the day, we would tape them and throw them into a barrel for shipping. Upon findingmercury sticks and radioactive materials, we would set them aside and send them to ourHAZMAT area where they would be labeled and properly taken care of. Because it was awarehouse, we had certain safety measures we had to take, such as wearing gloves, safetyglasses and composite toed boots.

Working for Lynn's, I was responsible for helping take the orders and getting everythingready in the kitchen. My job consisted of, setting the tables up and getting everythinglooking good in the dining area to cleaning and cooking in the kitchen. I often helped theboss cook orders of Belgian Waffles and scoop Ice Cream. When the customer would leave thestore, I would make sure everything would be picked up and taken care of at the tables.Closing shift, I would clean the Waffle Ovens and vacuum the store.

Waffle house employees are responsible for group and solo effort. As solo effort goes, Iwould meet, greet, and seat my customers. I would take their order and call it in. I woulddeliver their food and be there for my customers as much as possible. When the customerswere done, I would then clean their table and cash them out at the register. Group effortmeant when our shifts were coming to an end, we had duties to do, as a team. Someone wouldsweep the floor, the other would mop it. Groups would restock the napkins and refill thesyrup and sugar. Someone would make sweet tea, while the other would make orange juice.
