• Lead in RU Freshman Orientation Advising Sessions• Present academic material to undergraduate students and parents• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all FERPA standards• Assist in office management• Work with the Advising Coordinator in organizing all advising materials (student files, handouts, progress sheets, assessment surveys, Power Points, emails)

• Participate in the planning and implementation of the developmental guidance and counseling program • Provide guidance, counseling, coordination, consultation, and referral and delivery of informational services• Assist in promoting parent involvement, community relations, and program evaluation and curriculum support• Attend weekly supervision meetings with site-supervisor

• Assist in teaching a Department of Social Services (DSS) ordered parenting class for parents of young children• Lead in discussions of parenting related topics• Work collaboratively with DSS and professionals in the field• Maintain confidentiality

• Travel to law enforcement agencies or hospitals to assist clients experiencing sexual assault or domestic violence crises• Attend monthly supervision meetings• Engage in various community outreach programs, including the Vagina Monologues and Take Back the Night• Maintain confidential files

• Facilitate communication-focused counseling groups for 24 male jail inmates• Adhere to facility standards of confidentiality and obtain a security clearance• Attend weekly supervision meetings with RU Factuly and site supervisor• Present a professional proposal titled “WVRJ: A Group Proposal to Facilitate Inmate Reentry” to • the jail Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent

• Assist a Graduate Teaching Fellow with the instruction of a 200-level undergraduate course in Career Development• Prepare lesson plans and dynamic lectures• Maintain confidential educational information and follow all FERPA standards• Assess student’s learning outcomes and assign grades based on individual academic performance• Formulate a course syllabus
