I am currently a Principal Financial Analyst at BAE Systems, my primary responsibilities are to manage indirect cost spend and provide sound, reasonable and proactive financial management and analysis to drive affordability and profitability across the Combat Mission Systems Business. Previously I worked as an Internal Auditor at BAE Systems which allowed me to have a unique view into the broader business and provided the opportunity to lead diverse teams and complex compliance based audits. As a trusted audit lead, I presented my findings to the C-Suite for appropriate action to strengthen our business and control environment. I have spent the past few years within the defense industry expanding my talent profile and previously graduated from the Financial Leadership and Development Program (FLDP) at BAE Systems. This unique Leadership Program offered three years experience within different sectors and functions of the International Security and Defense Company. My first role was a Program Control Analyst within our Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack Solutions business. My second rotation I was in a Financial Planning and Analysis role at our Corporate Ship Repair Headquarters located in Norfolk, VA. I finished the program as a financial analyst within our independent cost evaluation and lifecycle management team at a sector business level. During this time I received my Masters in Business Administration with concentrated courses in accounting fraud and financial management. I am always looking for new growth opportunities to augment my current leadership skills.
