About Allison Kingston

I am a passionate and driven changemaker focused on migration and refugee issues, educational equality for women and girls and development through sport. Being a collaborative worker, I focus on project management and policy development by drawing from the passion and knowledge of those around me. I am a proud Rotaractor who is dedicated to embracing global knowledge streams to create more equitable and peaceful communities. I have excelled in positions within the public service, private sector and the non-profit world and am now searching for a future career in the third sector that aligns with my passions and values. Soon to be heading into a master’s program in Migration and Diaspora Studies, my past working for several international NGOs in Canada and abroad has fuelled a drive for continuous learning. I am a dedicated leader who through strategic resource development and management has been able to contribute valuable impact to my home and sister communities. When I am not focusing on executing projects or policy change, I am usually playing and coaching roller derby, nurturing a love for language learning or exploring the great outdoors.
